2 Hour Horse Course

Enjoy Our 2 hour horse experience fun for all ages Large indoor arena makes it a year round experience. Also, an outdoor obstacle course. By 72 hour advance Reservation. Group size 2-3 riders only.

Lesson Structure:

First 30 Minutes introductions to the horses, basic safety with each horse, grooming and tacking instruction.

Next 30 – 45 minutes: Introduction to Natural Horsemanship. Learn how leadership on the ground translates to the saddle and builds confidence and additional communication with the horse.

Final 30 – 45 minutes: Proper mounting and basic riding skills. What you should do in an emergency situation. Each person will be instructed in ways to communicate with the horse they are riding and learn to become a leader, since that is what horses respond to. We have many obstacles set up in the arena or outside for you to see if you can direct your horse without just following the other horses, to see how your skills are working.

Two to three people per session, so you can get more attention with the smaller groups. Our scheduled time per our instructors availability. If you are scheduling without 72 hours notice, we may not be able to fit you or your group in. Feel free to bring a snack or water.

If you are the only rider the class becomes a private lesson which is 1 & 1/2 hours with the cost of $75.

The Fine Print:

**Number of riders/ages/height/weight/experience, needed at booking. We cannot accommodate riders over 220lbs, horses can only carry 20% of their body weight comfortably and happily. A happy comfortable horse makes a safe lesson.

Suggested Dress:

LONG PANTS
WARM or WINTER COATS
SHOES/BOOTS with HEELS or TENNIS SHOES
Hats and Gloves by choice
