Slick is a very confident horse, rarely spooking at anything. He has ridden to the beach along a road with traffic and also on our wooded trails. He is a level 2 in the Parelli natural horsemanship levels and is doing some level 3 tasks. We are starting him over small jumps and often do cavalletti work with him. He is very calm, but not lazy. He will walk out on the trails and can have a nice forward trot. He also trailer very well and he catches you, since he is always wanting to go do something. We have never had any lameness issues with him, even after 4 or 5 days of working at walk and canter.
We have a fully enclosed indoor arena and the beach and trails to try him out on.
